Framed Bee and Sea Clover original artwork £150
A beautiful original framed artwork handmade by Cornwall based artist Ruth Proudfoot Smith. This large image celebrates the insects and fauna often seen around the Cornish coast. Ruth has depicted the flowerhead's irridescent purple and silver hues using a range of packaging and metallic wrappers. The free machine-stitching techniques add features and a hand-drawn style to the image. The details on the insect have been gradually built up from layers of heat-fused plastic packaging. Art mounted and framed.

PRODUCT INFO:
All designs are individually made and hand printed, therefore may vary slightly from product to product. I source materials from my immediate locality here in the South West, including using good local printers and framers.
My original and large framed prints are housed in environmentally recycled material using locally-sourced 'Polcore' moulding. I am endeavouring to use 90% recycled packaging from pre-used sources. As my business grows, so will my compostable boxing and wrapping.
