Framed Blue Cornish Lobster original artwork from recycled polyfusion materials
A beautiful original framed artwork handmade by Cornwall based artist Ruth Proudfoot Smith. This large local lobster is a common sight off the Cornish coast fishing villages. Ruth has depicted its irridescent blue and silver hues using free machine-stitching technques to add detail and a hand-drawn style to the image. The details on the Lobster's casing have been gradually built up from layers of heat-fused plastic packaging materials. Art mounted and framed.
Dimensions: 34cm (width) x 44 cm (height)

All designs are individually made and hand printed, therefore may vary slightly from product to product. I source materials from my immediate locality here in the SouthWest, including using good local printers and framers.
My original and large framed prints are housed in environmentally recycled material using locally-sourced 'Polcore' moulding. I am endeavouring to use 90% recycled packaging from pre-used sources. As my business grows, so will my compostable boxing and wrapping.
