Framed: Cornish King Crab original polyfusion artwork £85
A beautiful original framed artwork handmade by Cornwall based artist Ruth Proudfoot Smith. This original celebrates a common sight around the coast. The framed piece depicts a quirky Cornish King Crab and is avaliable in several variations. Ruth has depicted the distinctive colouring using layers of Coop plastic packaging, Babybel wrappers, and plastic bag food nets. The free machine-stitching technique adds textured details and a hand-drawn style. The image has been gradually built up from layers of heat-fused plastics.

PRODUCT INFO:
All designs are individually made and hand printed, therefore may vary slightly from product to product. I source materials from my immediate locality here in the South West, including using good local printers and framers.
My original and large framed prints are housed in environmentally recycled material using locally-sourced 'Polcore' moulding. I am endeavouring to use 90% recycled packaging from pre-used sources. As my business grows, so will my compostable boxing and wrapping.
