Framed: Trebarwith Strand North Cornwall original artwork
A beautiful original framed artwork handmade by Cornwall based artist Ruth Proudfoot Smith. This large original celebrates one of Ruth's favourite places in North Cornwall. Ruth has depicted the distinctive colouring using layers of translucent plastic bags from Next and local shops. The free machine-stitching technique adds details and a hand-drawn style to the rugged rocks. The details have been gradually built up from layers of heat-fused plastics.

All designs are individually made and hand printed, therefore may vary slightly from product to product. I source materials from my immediate locality here in the South West, including using good local printers and framers.
My original and large framed prints are housed in environmentally recycled material using locally-sourced 'Polcore' moulding. I am endeavouring to use 90% recycled packaging from pre-used sources. As my business grows, so will my compostable boxing and wrapping.
