Framed: Two Cornish Puffins original artwork
A beautiful original framed artwork handmade by Cornwall based artist Ruth Proudfoot Smith. This rectangular original celebrates the bond between two of these beautiful birds often seen around the Cornish coast. Ruth has depicted the distinctive colouring of the plumage using plastic courier packaging and added metallic sweet wrappers to capture the fish. The free machine-stitching techniques add features and a hand-drawn style to the image. The details have been gradually built up from layers of heat-fused plastic packaging. Art mounted and framed.

PRODUCT INFO:
All designs are individually made and hand printed, therefore may vary slightly from product to product. I source materials from my immediate locality here in the South West, including using good local printers and framers.
My original and large framed prints are housed in environmentally recycled material using locally-sourced 'Polcore' moulding. I am endeavouring to use 90% recycled packaging from pre-used sources. As my business grows, so will my compostable boxing and wrapping.
